Background and Bio
Daquan Neal is from Franklinton, North Carolina, and moved to Central Ohio as a young adult. He dropped out of college twice after experiencing severe depression and being diagnosed with Stage III kidney failure. Daquan returned to school after this period and graduated from Central State University with dual degrees in Psychology and Political Science, as well as additional studies in Philosophy. During his time at Central State University, Daquan served as Mister College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences and was an active member of the Honors College. He went on to work as a legislative aide in both the Ohio Senate and the Ohio House of Representatives. Neal currently lives in Columbus, Ohio.
