Background and Bio
Joe Miller III grew up in Amherst, working his way through Lorain Community College, he transferred to Bowling Green State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Bowling Green State University, he received a Master's of Education and a Master of Arts in American History and Government at Ashland University. Miller worked as a teacher and coach before serving as an associate director of planning at a design-build firm and a general manager in print production. He previously served for six years on the Amherst City Council before being elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2018. Miller has served as a State Representative for four terms, a role he currently holds. He lives in Amherst with his wife, Kelly, an educator, their sons, Joseph and Jordan, and their bulldog, Heisman.
