Mike Turner was born in Dayton, Ohio, and earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio Northern University, a law degree from Case Western Reserve University, and an MBA from the University of Dayton. He practiced law in Dayton for 17 years before serving two terms as Mayor of Dayton, and was elected to the U.S. House in 2002, a role in which he currently serves. He was previously married to Lori Turner, with whom he has two daughters, Jessica and Carolyn, and was later married to Majida Mourad in 2015 before divorcing in 2018.
